Service 04 — Compliance

One Violation Can Sideline Your Truck

Electronic Logging Devices aren't optional — they're federal law for interstate carriers. But between choosing a compliant device, installing it, training drivers, and monitoring hours-of-service, compliance becomes a second job.

We handle all of it. You get an FMCSA-compliant ELD, guided setup, driver training, and ongoing HOS monitoring — so roadside inspections and audits hold no surprises.

What's Included

  • FMCSA-compliant ELD device provided
  • Full installation guidance and driver training
  • Hours-of-service compliance monitoring
  • Real-time GPS tracking of your equipment
  • IFTA mileage reports generated automatically
  • Violation alerts before they become problems
  • Ongoing technical support

Beyond the Device

An ELD is only as good as the compliance behind it. We watch your hours, flag risky patterns, generate your IFTA numbers, and keep your records audit-ready — the full compliance picture, not just a gadget on the dash.

Who It's For

Every carrier running interstate — especially new authorities setting up for the first time, and owner-operators who want compliance handled without the learning curve.

The Law, Simply

The FMCSA ELD Mandate, Explained Simply

Since December 2017, most commercial drivers who are required to keep hours-of-service records must use a registered Electronic Logging Device instead of paper logs. No exceptions for "I've always done it on paper" — roadside inspectors expect to see compliant ELD data, and violations hit your CSA scores fast.

An ELD plugs into your truck's engine and automatically records driving time, engine hours, miles, and location. It doesn't just replace the logbook — it makes your records tamper-proof, which protects you in audits and disputes as much as it satisfies the FMCSA.

  • Required for: most interstate CMV drivers keeping RODS (record of duty status)
  • Exemptions exist for short-haul, driveaway-towaway, and pre-2000 engines — ask us if you qualify
  • Must be FMCSA-registered — cheap "logbook apps" that aren't registered devices don't count
  • Roadside-ready: inspectors can request data transfer via Bluetooth, USB, or email on the spot

Know Your Clock

Hours-of-Service in 60 Seconds

Your ELD enforces these automatically — but a driver who understands the rules plans better loads and avoids violations.

11

Driving Limit

Maximum 11 hours of driving after 10 consecutive hours off duty. The ELD counts every minute the wheels turn — there's no fudging it anymore.

14

On-Duty Window

You can't drive after the 14th consecutive hour since coming on duty, even if you drove fewer than 11. Once the window closes, only a 10-hour break reopens it.

70

Weekly Cap

Maximum 70 hours on duty in 8 days (60 in 7 for some operations). The 34-hour restart resets the clock — plan it where freight is good, not where you're stuck.

Plus: 30-minute break required after 8 hours of driving time, sleeper-berth split options (8/2 and 7/3), and adverse-driving-condition extensions. Our support team walks you through all of it during setup — no manual-reading required.

Data Plans

Simple monthly plans with no annual contract required. Your plan includes cellular data for the device, cloud log storage, the driver mobile app, and the fleet web dashboard. One flat rate — no per-feature upsells, no roaming surprises.

IFTA Reporting Help

Quarterly IFTA filings are where ELD data pays for itself twice. Your device logs every mile by state automatically — at quarter's end, we export clean mileage summaries your accountant (or you) can file in minutes instead of reconstructing trips from fuel receipts.

24/7 support included: ELD questions don't keep office hours — malfunctions at 2 AM, inspection confusion at a scale house, app issues mid-trip. Real humans, around the clock.

ELD Device FAQ

Yes — only FMCSA-registered devices satisfy the mandate. We'll show you the device's registration before you pay anything. If an "ELD" isn't on the FMCSA list, it's not an ELD.

Call our 24/7 support line immediately. FMCSA gives you 8 days to repair or replace a malfunctioning ELD — during which you reconstruct logs on paper. We ship replacements fast and document everything for your records.

Yes. The ELD records locally via the engine connection and syncs to the cloud when signal returns. Your logs are never lost in dead zones — they're stored on the device until upload.

The driver app runs on standard smartphones and tablets (iOS/Android). The ELD hardware itself plugs into the truck — the phone is just the display. We'll confirm compatibility during setup.

One-time hardware cost plus a flat monthly data plan — no annual contract. Message us on WhatsApp for current pricing; we'll quote hardware + plan together so there are no surprises.
